Ken Wisner

"Snoopy"

Ken "Snoopy" Wisner departed this life on November 26, 2004; he was born March 31, 1939 in El Dorado, Illinois. Snoopy brought joy to those he was around and touched many lives as he went through life. He always had a smile and hug for everyone.

He will live on through his family. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie; daughter Carolyn Brooks; son Kenneth Wisner III; grandchildren Dayna, Derek, Brianne, Kenneth IV, Dylan and Faith; his brothers and sisters of Los Carnales and La Familia and his family at Studio 13 1/2.

Anyone who spent any time with Snoopy found that he was a quiet yet humorous man.  Not many men have joined this Nation and left it quickly, leaving a legacy hard to beat.  Snoopy was a man with a lot of character.  He and his lovely wife Debbie always took care of those who meant the world to them.  Even in his final days, Snoopy never stopped thinking of others.

Although it is hard to talk about, a story I like to tell about Snoopy that sums up the character this man had goes as follows:

Snoopy, prior to entering the hospital, wanted to eat at one of his favorite restaurants, TGI Fridays.  His favorite meal was the ribs dinner.  At the restaurant was his wife Debbie, Tattoo, Kathy and their family. Hacker and AKA was asked to join them for dinner that night and we were very proud to accept our dinner invitation.  We all ordered our meals and made small talk.  Soon it was time to go.  I leaned over to AKA and asked her to pay for everyone, which she agreed.  However before we could say anything about paying, Snoopy reached into his pocket and retrieved his money.  He laid the money for the bill on the table and said “This is my last meal outside of the hospital and I am paying for everyone,” and he did.

I was awestruck by not only what he had said but also the fact that he paid for the meal for everyone.  This small gesture shows the character of a great man.  In the restaurant that night he was not worried about himself but more concerned with taking care of those who was with him that night.

The Los Carnales-La Familia Nation is proud to have had Snoopy apart of our family.  Snoopy will never be forgotten.
